AEON holds regular information meetings and group interview sessions at our offices in Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Toronto, ON; and Sydney, Australia. Recruiting trips are also conducted throughout the United States, Canada and Australia as well as in London, England. Interviews can also be arranged within Japan for those who reside in Japan. As AEON does not offer telephone interviews, successful applicants must attend all stages of the interview process in person. Applicants are responsible for any expenses incurred to travel to one of our offices or recruiting trip locations. Our interview process includes an information meeting, a group interview, and for applicants successful at the group interview, a personal interview. The interview and selection process takes at least two consecutive or separate days. AEON hires English teachers year-round and positions are available monthly. There is no deadline for application. However, we recommend individuals apply at least two to six months prior to their desired departure date. Applicants may express their preferences regarding school location, type of school, and the timing of their departure. We try to accommodate these requests to the best of our ability. However, we are not always able to fulfill the requests since we are working with the positions that need to be filled. All teachers will know the details of their position, including the location of their school, before signing the contract.
