| At AEON, adult students are placed in classes according to
their speaking ability. High school and university students are placed in classes
with adult students, since they have already received English education in public
schools and possess general knowledge of the language. The courses for adult students
consist of the following types of lessons: |

 |
Each
Roundup lesson contains both a fundamental section which emphasizes basic grammar
usage and rules and an enhancement section which expands upon the basic communication
exercises. The purpose of the Roundup lessons is to bring students to the stage
where they can use the correct form and natural expressions in conversation. |

 |
Group
lessons are designed to encourage less structured or less academic-sounding conversation
in practical situations. Dialogue practice in pairs or small groups is the main
activity in these lessons. Whereas Roundup lessons focus on particular grammatical
or structural weaknesses the students may have, Group lessons focus on functional
aspects of the English language. |

 |
Private
lessons focus on the individual needs of one student. Once these needs are determined,
the teacher, along with the student, designs a lesson plan to achieve specific
goals. Since the lessons are tailored to each student, they can learn at their
own pace. Due to the personalization of these lessons, the student's progress
is rapid. |

 |
AEON offers preparation courses for English proficiency
examinations, such as the TOEFL test, the TOEIC test, and the STEP test. If the
need arises, we also open courses to prepare high school students for their university
examinations. There are also other courses to improve students' specific language
skills, for example vocabulary, listening, pronunciation or grammar courses.
